Delaying fardh ghusal and missing salaah

Question

If a person gets nightfall (wet dream) but does not perform ghusl that day and then the next night he gets nightfall again and now he performs ghusl… Is this ghusl enough for both nightfalls or will he need to perform ghusl twice?

Answer

One ghusal will suffice for both but it is not permissible for one to remain in the state of janaabat for the whole day. Through remaining in janaabat one will be missing all salaah and one will be sinful. Therefore, one should not delay in having ghusal.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
