FUE (follicular unit extraction) treatment for hair growth

Question

There are a few individuals that have done FUE (follicular unit extraction). The procedure involves taking a persons own hair and transplanting it to areas of the scalp where hair has thinned.

My understanding is few weeks after the procedure there is also natural growth in these areas and the hair can be cut and will regrow naturally.

Is this procedure using your own hair permissible?

Answer

It is permissible for one to undergo this treatment which will assist in one's hair growth.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
