Keeping the name "Muhammad Wa sallam"

Question

I would like to ask about keeping a name of a baby boy. The name would be Muhammad Wa Sallam, after our beloved Prophet's mubarak name. It is like one keeps a name Musa, or Esa or Ebrahim etc. Is it permissible to keep this name "Muhammad Wa sallam" or not?

Answer

You may keep his name Muhammad without wa sallam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
