Where children should stand in the musjid
Question
1. Where should children stand in the saff, just one saff behind the men, or two, or very far back?
2. If the 9 yr old child stands one saff behind the men, then the late comers come in and end up standing next to the boy, is this a mistake from the child? Some insist the child should stand many saffs behind to accommodate for late comers.
Answer
One saff is alright unless there is a possibility of men coming in later. So to avoid men standing in the saff of children they could stand 2 saffs behind.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
