Repeating the tashahhud in salaah

· 23 Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah 1447 AH1 min readEnglish

Question

I was reciting the tashahud and I wasn't sure if I pronounced something wrong or not, so I recited at-tahiyat from the beginning, was this ok?

Answer

If this was the second qadah, then sajdah sahw is not compulsory. However, if it was the first qadah in a three or four rakaat salaah, then sajdah sahw was compulsory upon you.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
