Question

What is the ruling on wiping the neck in wudu?

Some scholars say that it is Bidah and that wiping the neck is an innovation hence I would like for you to please clarify on this.

Answer

If you are referring to making masah of the nape, then it is mustahab.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
