Discharging sadaqatul fitr according to the place one is in on the Day of Eidul Fitr

Question

When travelling overseas and the need arises to discharge sadaqatul fitr, e.g. I'm overseas on eid day, will the amount be determined by my home town or the place I'm traveling in?

Answer

You will discharge the sadaqatul fitr according to the place you are in on the Day of Eidul Fitr.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
