Blood test while fasting

Question

Please can you confirm does a blood test break the fast?

Answer

No.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

ولو داوى جائفة أو آمة بدواء فوصل إلى جوفه أو دماغه أفطر عند أبي حنيفة رحمه الله والذي يصل هو الرطب وقالا لا يفطر لعدم التيقن بالوصول لانضمام المنفذ مرة واتساعه أخرى كما في اليابس من الدواء وله أن رطوبة الدواء تلاقي رطوبة الجراحة فيزداد ميلا إلى الأسفل فيصل إلى الجوف بخلاف اليابس لأنه ينشف رطوبة الجراحة فينسد فمها (هداية 1/220)
