Should Azaan be called out when performing qadha Salaah?
Question
Is Azaan Sunnat Muakkada for Qadha Salaats?
If one leaves the Azaan constantly for Qadha Salawaat, will he be sinful?
Answer
If he is performing the Qadha alone, then he will not give Azaan.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

( و ) يسن أن ( يؤذن ويقيم لفائتة ) رافعا صوته لو بجماعة أو صحراء لا ببيته منفردا ( وكذا ) يسنان ( لأولى الفوائت ) لا لفاسدة ( ويخير فيه للباقي ) لو في مجلس وفعله أولى ويقيم للكل (الدر المختار 1/ 390-391)
قال الشامي : قوله ( فيه ) أي في الأذان قوله ( لو في مجلس ) أما لو في مجالس فإن صلى في مجلس أكثر من واحدة فكذلك وإلا أذن وأقام لها قوله ( وفعله أولى ) لأنه اختلفت الروايات في قضائه ما فاته يوم الخندق ففي بعضها أنه أمر بلالا فأذن وأقام للكل وفي بعضها أنه اقتصر على الإقامة فيما بعد الأولى فالأخذ بالزيادة أولى خصوصا في باب العبادات وتمامه في الإمداد قوله ( ويقيم للكل ) أي لا يخير في الإقامة للباقي بل يكره تركها كما في نور الإيضاح تتمة يأتي في صلاتي الجمع بعرفة بأذان واحد وإقامتين وبمزدلفة بأذان وإقامة واختار الطحاوي أنه كعرفة ورجحه ابن الهمام كما سيأتي في بابه إن شاء الله وبقي لو جمع بين فائتة ومؤداة لم أره ويظهر لي أنه يأتي بأذانين وإقامتين والفرق بينه وبين الجمع بمزدلفة لا يخفى (رد المحتار 1/ 391)
