Question

Is old mutual and oasis unit trust accounts halaal? I am a student looking to invest my money. I previously sent a question but I did not receive a relevant answer.

Answer

We do not know the workings of these trusts, hence we are not in a position to issue a shar'ee ruling.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
