Question

I married a sister about 18 months ago. She had a contract in which I signed that stated I cannot have another wife for five years. Due to unavoidable circumstances I married another wife. Is my first nikkah still valid?

Answer

Yes.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
