Jumuah Khutba in English

Question

In our masjid there is a scholar but he is not an Aalim. He gives the Jummah Khutba in English. Is this allowed? Is the Jummah salaah accepted?

Answer

It is not allowed to give the khutbah in English. However, the Jumu`ah Salaah will be valid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
