Taking the soap from hotels

Question

Am I allowed to keep the soap, etc that I have taken from the hotel room in which I was staying. If no and it's not possible for me to return the item. What do I do?

Answer

If the general practice and usage in that area is that the hotels allow those who hire the rooms to take the soaps, then it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
