Is there any ruling regarding giving fish to the newly-wed or just proposed couple?

Question

Is there any ruling regarding giving fish to the newly-wed or just proposed couple? Like the girl's side must give the boy's side fish once they are engaged or married as this is sunnah? Please clarify?

Answer

This has no basis in Islam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
