Is Qurbaani waajib upon a Haaji?

Question

Is it waajib for a haaji to do Qurbani other than dam shukr?

Answer

If he is a musaafir, then qurbaani is not waajib upon him. However if he is not a musaafir and he possesses the nisaab amount during the days of Qurbaani, then Qurbaani will be waajib upon him. The Qurbaani can be done on his behalf in his home town or alternatively he can do the Qurbaani in Makka Mukarramah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
