Question

When females pray salaah in a sitting position and in sajdah position is it sunnah for them to place the feet towards the right and also place the toes pointing towards the qiblah or it sunnah only to place the feet towards the right and the toes shouldn't face the qiblah? I was told that the toes should also point towards the qiblah but I am unable to find the reference?

Answer

If she is able to make her toes face the qiblah, then she should do so. This can be understood from the general Ahaadith which command that in the various postures of Salaah, the limbs should be facing towards the qiblah. In this regard we have prepared a detail article on the Salaah of women. You may refer to it http://ihyaauddeen.co.za/?p=6413

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

How do I find the qiblah direction?

“Primarily, one is not allowed to face the exact Qibla while relieving himself/herself nor turn his/her back towards Qibla as mentioned in various Ahadith due to the sanctity of the Qibla.”
