Question

If there is a animated picture beside me when praying, is it sufficient to place some a shield before it so that it is not visible anymore to me from every angle of my prayer place, or must it be totally packed in?

Answer

The correct thing is that the animate object be destroyed. However is one is in a place where one does not have control and is unable to destroy the animate object, then one should cover the animate object and then perform Salaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
