Listening to one's parents
Question
If a man is to get married but his parents don't agree with the marriage. Is it halal to publicise and go ahead with the marriage without their approval?
Answer
The marriage will be valid and if the parents are objecting purely for valid reasons then it is important to listen to the parents.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
