Chasing away cats

Question

There is a cat who frequently stays in our car porch and often release stool and urinates in there. We try to drag her off ensuring that she does not get hurt, but she comes again and again. Moreover, she often gives birth to her babies that hampers us. If we hit her without injuring her just to let her go away, are we committing a sin?

Answer

You will not be committing a sin.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
