However, we have located the same incident with following texts: There is a discussion amongst the scholars on the authenticity of that portion of the narration.” Darul Ifta, Darul Uloom Azaadville: “The Hadeeth is not suitable for narration. Allamah Ibn Al-Jawzi and Allamah Suyooti Rahimahullah have included this Hadeeth in their compilations of fabricated Ahadeeth.” Jamiatul Ulama KZN: “This story is fabricated. Ḥāfiẓ Jawraqānī (d. 543/1148) and Ḥāfiẓ Ibn al-Jawzī (d. 597/1201) have transmitted the various short and detailed versions of this story with their chains and concluded that the various versions of the story are all a fabrication forged by the story tellers.” Based on the fatawa linked below.
