Fantasizing about spouse

Question

Assalaam o Alaikum wrwb,

Respected Mufti Sahab,

I have a question. After nikah and before rukhsati, is it permissible to fantasize about one's spouse not with the intention of masturbation but just to imagine a pleasant life and to reduce the anxiety and nervousness about marital relation?

May Allah (swt) bless you with immense rewards and blessings. Please remember us in your duas.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible after Nikaah.
