Fantasizing while having relations with one's wife

Question

Is it allowed to have sexual fantasy in Islam? Is it allowed for a husband to think of another man while having sex with his wife and is it allowed for a man to think of another woman while having sex with his wife?

Answer

This is totally haraam in Islam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿١﴾ الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ ﴿٢﴾ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ ﴿٣﴾ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ ﴿٤﴾ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ ﴿٥﴾ إِلَّا عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ ﴿٦﴾ فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ ﴿٧﴾ ﴿المؤمنون﴾
