Question

Is it permissible to use black henna to dye ones hair?

Answer

It will not be permissible to utilize black colour to dye the hair irrespective of the type of dye used.

Other colours such as brown, etc. may be used for dyeing the hair; but that too when the hair has turned grey or white. However, one should refrain from using loud/fashionable colours or streaking the hair.
