Hosting Several Taraweeh In One Masjid

Question

Can there be multiple Taraweeh Jamaats in the same Masjid? For example, one Jamaat in the front, one at the back and on the two sides?

Answer

To perform multiple Taraweeh is Makrooh (disliked). Alternate arrangements should be made to perform the Taraweeh Salaah.

سوال؛ دو منزلہ مسجد کی ہر ایک منزل میں تراویح کی الگ جماعت کرنا جائز ہے یا نہیں؟ اور ایک ہی منزل میں مختلف جگہوں پر کچھ فاصلہ سے دوسری جماعت کا کیا حکم؟

جواب؛ مسجد میں جماعت کا تعدد مکروہ ہے اور اس کا عموم جماعت تراویح شامل ہے لہذا یہ بھی مکروہ ہے خواہ ایک ہی وقت میں تراویح کی متعدد جماعتیں ہوں یا مختلف اوقات میں ہوں، فقط واللہ اعلم (احسن الفتاوى 3/526)
