Aqeeqa after the seventh day

Question

If the aqeeqa of a child is not done within 7 days, is it then done on 14th, 21st, 28th and so on days (multiple of 7 days) or can it be done on any days after 7 days? Please can you inform me on these issues.

Answer

If the aqeeqah was not done on the seventh day, it can be done any time after the seventh day.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
