Having the need to get married

Question

A 19 year old girl wants to marry but her parents are refusing and not giving her any chance. They do not have a Shar'ee reason. This is leading to haraam and fitna. Please advice. Can nikaah without their permission be performed?

Answer

If she is afraid that she will fall prey to haraam then she must make nikaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
