Fasting during pregnancy

Question

What is the ruling about being pregnant in Ramadhaan? Can I feed people for the number of days that I missed as I will be in the last month of pregnancy and do not want any complications? Kindly advise.

Answer

A pregnant woman is not excused from fasting during the month of Ramadhaan. However if she is unable to fast due to weakness or illness, then it is permissible for her to postpone the missed fasts for after the month of Ramadhaan.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
