Question

I want to know about the ruling when one man gives divorce three times to his wife after nikaah before rukhsati but they want to remarry, Is halaala required? Or if after nikah before rukhsati, they met together and made romance kiss or foreplay but rukhsati did not take place and he gave his wife talaaq. In this situation what is ruling if they want to remarry? And last one after rukhsati husband made foreplay with his wife but not ful sexual intercourse. What is the ruling if he divorces his wife three times in one place, if he want her back as his wife, is halaala required?

Answer

If after the nikaah, both spent time in seclusion and it was possible for them to have had relations without any obstacle being found (e.g. the woman being in haidh, or someone being present in the room, etc), then if he issued three talaaqs, all three talaaqs will be valid and it will not be permissible for him to remarry her unless halaala takes place.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Do three talaqs in one sitting count as three?

“The law of shariah is that once the husband issues three divorces, the nikaah totally terminates and there is no way for the husband to reconcile. Both husband and wife become haraam for each other.”
