Will ghusal be valid if oil is applied to the hair?
Question
I have heard that oil prevents the water from reaching the roots of the hair. Now I am confused. If oil is applied to the hair will the ghusl be valid or do we have to use shampoo or soap to remove the oil?
Answer
It is valid.
