Making salaam when entering the home

Question

In a Hadith it is mentioned that when a person remembers Allah when entering the house, Shaytaan cannot enter. If a person merely says 'السلام عليكم' will this be counted as remembering Allah?

Answer

Yes. The hadith mentions that when a person enters the home with salaam, then Shaytaan does not enter.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
