Turning towards the congregation after Salaah
Question
Should the Imaam turn towards his right or left facing the muqtadis for making duaa only for Fajr and Asr Salaah?
Answer
Yes. Those Salaahs after which there are sunnats, the sunnah method is that one should not delay in performing one's sunnats after the fardh. Instead one should stand up and complete one's sunnats. However after fajr and asr since there are no sunnats, the Imaam will turn towards the congregation or he will sit facing the right or left and engage in tasbihaat and dua.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
