Can we opt for an abortion?

Question

I am married and a father of one child. My wife is 4-5 weeks pregnant and we both are not ready for this child because my first child was born one month ago with c section and I currently don't have a job and we are in a lot of problems also. Can we opt for an abortion?

Answer

To do abortion for these reasons is haraam. Allah Ta`ala is the provider.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
