Musaafir joining a Muqeem

Question

A musaafir joined a muqeem imam in a 4 rakaat salaah. His wudhu broke, so he had to leave. So when he repeats the salaah must he read 2 rakaats qasr or should he perform full 4 rakaats?

Answer

He will read two rakaats.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
